ROLE

This position is required within a team in Manila with responsibility for handling and processing transactions for the Client Expenses team. 

The Manila Client Expenses Team is responsible for the payment of Third Party, Management, Performance and Directors fee payments.  The team is also responsible for the preparation and review of client budgets on a quarterly basis.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management

·         Undertake day-to-day operations management 

·         Manage team workload and allocate responsibilities amongst individuals to ensure all internal and external SLA’s, ad hoc project and audit deliverables are met

·         Set clear and measureable goals and objectives for the team and individuals, ensuring performance assessments are completed in line with corporate requirements 

·         Create and enable career development plans for direct reports and facilitate staff development

·         Provide candid and timely feedback and coaching to individuals

Operational

·         Oversee, review and approve third party, management, performance and directors fee payments to agreed SLA’s

·         Review and approve payment instructions and banking entries for all clients

·         Review and approve client static data set up and amendments

·         Review of quarterly budgets to ensure timely release to clients and escalate as appropriate

·         Manage team production to ensure timely issue to clients, escalate as appropriate

·         Oversee and monitor the team email inbox to ensure all queries are responded to and resolved in a timely manner 

·         Ensure all issues and actions required are captured in the appropriate log 

·         Assist with the completion of detailed analysis of team processes and reporting as part of the month end process

·         Build a strong control focus within the team and ensure individuals follow due process and apply documented controls across all payment and budget processes 

·         Build strong working relationships with contacts in other business units

Other

·         Develop an in-depth knowledge of all systems, controls and processes, ensuring that the team as a whole are competent and proficient in the use / application of the same

·         Demonstrate the ability and desire to share the knowledge in the form of training, mentoring or coaching other

·         Provide input to systems, controls and business process projects as required

·         Complete ad-hoc work as required



Knowledge :Leadership and organizational skills are needed to prioritize assignments and provide feedback to staff.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
Functional / Industry Knowledge is required
Analytical and problem solving skills are required / preferred
Technical skills are required

Experience :A College or University degree and/or some relevant work experience is required.
