Job Summary
Responsible for the assignment of work to the marketing support staff. Provides input into the performance management process. Oversees response for proposal (RFP) activities and resources. Provides training to marketing support staff.

Major Duties:
Assigns tasks to the RFP specialists. Organizes the work, sets short-term priorities, monitors all activity, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work.Manages input into the performance management process and staffing decisions.Provides training to the RFP partners.Oversees completion and/or coordinates RFP responses.Assists in qualifying RFPs in light of the firm's product/service capabilities, account minimums and legal guidelines.Oversees the development of request for proposals, providing input or completing the more technical or complex aspects of the proposals.Completes the larger more complex RFPs that may require additional research, analysis, creativity and judgment.Ensures that the RFP database materials are kept updated and coordinates any customization of the materials for client presentations.Interacts on an on-going basis with partners across Asset Servicing to obtain information on the products and services to support the sales efforts or to conduct research on requests for proposals.Works on projects with the broader global RFP teams.
Knowledge:
Experience :5-7 years of experience in sales or RFP, including financial services experience. 2-3 years management experience desirable.
Salary Range:
$95,600 - 162,400 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension), health and welfare benefits (medical, dental, vision, spending accounts and disability), paid time off, parental and caregiver leave, life & accident insurance, and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
