Your Impact

As Team Lead, Master Data Services – Materials Master/Enterprise Asset Management, you will oversee the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of materials and asset master data. Your leadership ensures the data that powers maintenance, procurement, and inventory operations is complete, reliable, and aligned with governance standards.

As Part of Our Team, You Will Supervise day-to-day materials and asset master data creation, updates, and maintenance.Ensure compliance with master data governance policies, standards, and quality controls.Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions for discrepancies or errors.Lead documentation, cleansing, enrichment, and continuous improvement efforts.Provide guidance and feedback to your team while promoting a collaborative, high-performing culture.Generate reports on data performance and contribute to system and process enhancements.Escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution of data-related requests.Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management, Data Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent years of experience, Proficiency in ERP systems, MDM processes, and database management tools.Demonstrated expertise in heavy equipment, components, and systems, with a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand, troubleshoot, and support equipment-related processes or maintenance activities. Experience managing materials master or enterprise asset data in a high-volume environment.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Proven ability to apply data quality standards and lead teams through change and process optimization.Your Work Environment You will be part of Newmont’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Finance function. The role is people-focused and involves cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders across People, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams. You’ll work in a hybrid, dynamic environment, balancing leadership responsibilities with strategic project execution.We currently have two open positions for Team Lead, Master Data Services, Materials Master/Enterprise Asset Management. One role will support operations during the day shift, while the other will cover the night shift to ensure continuous support across time zones.Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC).Why Join Newmont
