Team Lead, Customer Marketing
Overview: The Cvent Event Cloud Customer Marketing team is dedicated to supporting and nurturing existing Cvent customers throughout their journey. The team focuses on the following stages of the customer lifecycle: onboarding, adoption, retention, and advocacy. We develop targeted programs to guide customers from the moment they join us, ensuring their engagement with our products, satisfaction, and willingness to advocate for us. Ultimately, we strive to help customers expand their business and achieve their goals. This role is critical to supporting our customer engagement, retention, and advocacy initiatives, with a strong focus on content management, community engagement, and Generative Engagement Optimization (GEO) strategies. The position aligns with Cvent’s priorities of increasing community-driven renewals and leveraging user-generated content in a zero-click and GEO web search environment. In This Role, You Will: Maintain and refresh Cvent Community content—including banners, learning centers, and blogs—ensuring all materials are current, relevant, and engaging for users. •Lead SEO, GEO, and zero-click content initiatives to maximize the discoverability of community content in search engines, collaborating closely with the digital marketing team. •Oversee and execute weekly admin-led content updates, to keep the community dynamic and valuable. •Plan and implement community engagement campaigns in partnership with internal teams to drive active participation and monitor campaign performance. •Develop and run renewal nurture campaigns using email, ads, and other channels to increase customer retention and renewal rates. •Support reference, review, and referral programs—including managing nominations, customer reviews (G2, Capterra), and referral tracking—to build advocacy, generate leads, and support sales. •Partner closely with global marketing stakeholders to coordinate campaign scheduling, asset creation, campaign builds, reviews, internal approvals, and reporting. Here's What You Need: •Strong understanding of marketing campaign design and execution (a customer-focused background will be a plus). •Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. •Excellent organizational and program management skills. •Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and under strict timelines. •Excellent written and verbal communicator. •4+ years of total experience in the B2B Marketing field •Education: A bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus •Event Industry experience and experience in a SaaS environment is a plus.
