Position Overview:
The GPM Complaint Evaluation Team Lead is a hands-on technical leader performing complaint evaluation, coding and reportability determination. The role requires strong organization skills, attention to detail while working in cross functional teams to accomplish of departmental and company goals.
Responsibilities:
• Assist during FDA, ISO or other third party or internal audits.
• Train others on the requirements of the Complaint Coordinating activities, including follow-up with the Customer Care Group.
• Support review and investigation of medical device complaints
• Provide work leadership/mentorship to team members, including but not limited to, training support on processes and procedures.
• Performs complex tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Track daily team metrics to ensure performance targets are achieved
• Manages, facilitates, and participates in Continuous Improvement projects.
• Assist in cross-functional special projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-5 years Complaint evaluation/processing experience
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in data management, record keeping, and trouble shooting in the Medical Device field, or other transferable experience related to organization, technical aptitude and data management.
• Proven leadership skills to engage, coach, mentor, and develop the team, inspire high quality and timely work.
• Effective verbal communication and excellent technical writing skills.
• Proven experience to organize, prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Prior experience working in a regulated industry
• Experience creating and analyzing charts and Pareto charts in MS Excel a plus.
• Excels at generating and maintaining organized and accurate records.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
• Willingness to pursue additional learning and build qualifications in a professional field, as required.
• Effective verbal and technical writing skills. Ability to communicate at multiple levels of an organization.
• Ability to organize and judge priorities.
• Able to make decisions quickly using information at hand and evaluate the need to obtain clarification and direction when necessary.
