Job description Aspire People are currently recruiting dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to support a number of thriving primary schools across Coventry. We have both full-time and part-time vacancies available for a September start, with opportunities across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who are passionate about education and committed to helping pupils thrive in a classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to pupils and teachers in EYFS, KS1, or KS2 settings.
Deliver targeted support to individual pupils and small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management.
Support the academic, emotional, and social development of pupils.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff members to meet the individual needs of learners.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Experience working within a primary school environment, ideally in EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
Flexibility to work across different year groups as needed.
Strong understanding or experience working with children with SEN and/or EAL.
A nurturing, enthusiastic, and proactive approach to supporting learning.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
Essential Requirements:
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training, or willingness to complete prior to starting.
