Salary: $585 / Week ?? Job Title: School Aide Location: Santa Maria, California Pay Range : $18/hour Schedule: Monday–Friday, 30–32.5 hours/week ?? Position Summary School Aides provide essential support to teachers, students, and school staff by assisting with classroom activities, supervision, and daily routines. Their presence helps maintain a safe, inclusive, and productive learning environment, allowing educators to focus on instruction while students receive the additional attention they need to thrive. ?? Key Responsibilities + Assist teachers in preparing and organizing classroom materials + Supervise students during class, recess, lunch, and transitions + Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with academic or behavioral needs + Help implement IEP accommodations and behavior plans + Escort students and assist with mobility or therapeutic care + Monitor student behavior and enforce school rules + Support school events, field trips, and administrative tasks as needed ?? Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required + Experience working with children preferred + CPR and First Aid certification may be required + TB clearance and health screening (per district policy) + Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills ???
