Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
As a Process Integration Engineer in Technology Development organization, your primary responsibility will be to lead the efforts in developing a module for the next generation DRAM technology node. You will collaborate with US and Japan development teams to align on module development strategy and requirements. You will define the structural and electrical requirements for one or more modules and work with unit process areas and supporting teams, as well as other module owners to integrate your module with the entire flow. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers to assess new architecture, devices, technology, and materials to validate the technology direction for the future technode.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
• Develop, maintain and improve one or more process module including design rules, structural and electrical specifications for alternative flows
• Optimize existing process flows and develop creative solutions to meet product requirements
• Design DOEs and analyze results with statistical analysis software like JMP. Feedback results to product for yield enhancement.
• Extract, monitor, analyze, and react to inline data, defect data, param data and probe data to fix yield issues, performance, reliability, add process margin and reduce costs
• Work cross-functionally with Design, Product Engineering, Modeling, Yield Enhancement and Electrical and Physical Failure analysis teams, Defect Analysis, Param, and Quality teams to understand issues, targets, and priorities for development
• Summarize complex problems, derive, explain actions taken to address them and drive team to execute
• Define sub-milestones for the project within your module
• Lead the project or team group for process development, problem solving and coach Engineer
Qualifications:
• PhD (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Physics, or Material Science) or M.S. with 8 years industry experience
• Solid knowledge of DRAM process, basic semiconductor device Physics ans S/A operation
• Good written and verbal communication skills required.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, organizational, mentor, and team building skills
• Proficient with data analysis, DOE, statistical techniques (JMP, Python), and Micron system
Preferred Experience:
• Experience in DRAM module integration
• >3 years of Technology Development or Research & Development in process integration or a role that interacts with process integration and has a strong understanding of process integration requirements.
• >2 years of DRAM manufacturing fab and/or DRAM transfer team experience
Education:
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other related technical field is required.
