TCS Field Engineer

We are now looking for a TCS Field Engineer, to join Nissan Germany.
 

The TCS Field Engineering is responsible for investigating concerns in the market, capturing key technical information, and generating concise reports. You will liaise closely with TCS Model Engineering and use tools such as Capture (warranty claim early detection tool) and Breakdown Call-Out Feeds in Central Europe (Germany, Benelux, France).
As a Field Engineer (FE), you will discuss concerns with local Techline engineers, dealer technicians, roadside assist technicians, and customers, as well as investigate vehicles and/or parts to clarify the concern. Using this information, you will document concerns in a technical report, using fact and data, and pass this information to the Model Engineering Group based in Cranfield.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Responsible for receiving and managing Capture early detection feeds in Central Europe (Germany, Benelux, France)Clarifying priority of concerns and gathering information from dealers, customers, etc.Coordinating investigations by the Techline Team of RBU based in Central Europe and reporting follow-up performance in CaptureSupporting technical investigations on vehicles on a regular basis in the European market (on dealer sites) where required

Strong vehicle knowledge and technical skills, including automotive workshop experience (e.g., RBU Flying Doctor)A high level of self-motivation, as well as the ability to motivate others both internally and externallyProven experience in concern analysis and problem solvingCustomer-oriented approach and ability to work autonomously with a clear focus on company and departmental objectivesProven ability to operate cross-functionally at all levelsStrong English, German, and French written and verbal communication skills at all levelsStrong data analysis skillsHigher technical qualification / engineering degree
