You’ll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO’s partners to help businesses effectively. You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

You will be a key member of the Global Employer Services group, this role will provide reward and share schemes services for a wide range of clients. You will be responsible for assisting Directors & Partners in providing Tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of clients. 

The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients and assist with the development of targets in order to ensure the continued growth of the business. You will also provide assistance to senior members of staff in both client work and in the management of the group, as appropriate.

Key to the role is for the individual to be able to pro-actively manage their own workload, communicating with directors/partners on a regular basis. This is essential due to the size and nature of the team. Furthermore, the individual will be expected to be able to consider and highlight further opportunities to develop new work.

You will be involved in:

Dual administration and tax duties, working alongside senior members of the tax team to ensure clients receive a high standard of careEnsuring accuracy and efficiency within the teamPrioritising work for the team to ensure deadlines are metInteraction with peers, tax preparers, managers, directors and partnersManage client files within the Document Management System (DMS) and review information to identify gapsPreparation and submission of correspondence and returns to official authoritiesSupporting the development of the team by monitoring new business opportunities.
