Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Staff to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will work with a well-established client base to provide high-quality tax preparation and accounting services. Responsibilities: • Prepare, review, and file tax returns for individual, corporate, and federal clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks to support client financial management when required. • Collaborate with a team in a supportive and laid-back work environment. • Utilize accounting software tools such as CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and IntelliConnect effectively. • Maintain strong relationships with a long-standing client base by delivering exceptional service. • Stay updated on tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients. • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. • Manage multiple client accounts, adhering to deadlines and prioritizing tasks efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and accounting functions. • Proficiency in accounting software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CaseWare. • Strong knowledge of individual, federal, and corporate tax return preparation. • Familiarity with bookkeeping practices and financial record management. • Excellent organizational and time-management skills. • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a collaborative environment. • Commitment to providing high-quality service to clients.
