Description We are looking for a skilled Tax Staff member to join our team just SW of College Station, Texas. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid understanding of corporate tax compliance and income tax provisions, who are ready to contribute to a dynamic organization. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate tax reporting and adherence to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: • Prepare and review corporate income tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable regulations. • Analyze financial data to calculate accurate annual income tax provisions. • Assist in the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns. • Collaborate with internal teams to address tax-related inquiries and provide guidance. • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance. • Support audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. • Maintain detailed and organized tax records for reporting and auditing purposes. • Participate in tax planning initiatives to optimize corporate tax strategies. • Ensure timely submission of all required tax filings and documentation. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax-related roles. • Proficiency in corporate income tax preparation and compliance. • Knowledge of annual income tax provision processes. • Experience with sales and use tax regulations and filings. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in financial data. • Ability to interpret and stay updated on tax laws and regulations. • Excellent communication and organizational skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
