Tax Senior Manager | Majid Al Futtaim Global Solutions | Finance

ROLE SUMMARY

The purpose of this role is to lead the Corporate Tax Operations team in Egypt, ensuring timely and accurate compliance, reporting, and audit management for the Properties, Entertainment, and GS sectors. The role involves close collaboration with Finance Delivery Teams, Business units, and external service providers to manage corporate tax accounting and documentation. It also supports broader tax advisory and compliance initiatives to meet operational and regulatory requirements.

 

ROLE PROFILE

Supervise and guide the corporate tax team to ensure efficient operations in line with company policies and procedures.Lead the preparation and submission of monthly, half-year, and year-end corporate tax and deferred tax packages.Manage ongoing corporate tax and transfer pricing audits, including preparing documentation, assessing risks, and providing regular updates.Review all periodic corporate tax compliance tasks, including transfer pricing, coordinate with tax consultants, and update the tax compliance dashboard.Ensure the availability and accuracy of all supporting documentation and working papers to meet audit and group tax requirements.Work closely with consultants and internal teams to finalize tax filings, implement necessary process improvements, and support tax automation initiatives.Liaise with the Egyptian Tax Authority for ongoing tax matters and assist in tax-related business activities such as mergers or sales.Stay informed on changes in corporate tax laws, ensure alignment of ERP and IT systems with tax requirements, and maintain a high level of internal customer service.

 

REQUIREMENTS

10+ years of experience in corporate tax, ideally with exposure to Big 4 or tax consultancy.Strong experience in managing tax audits and compliance processes.Bachelor’s in finance or accounting is required; CA, ACCA, CPA, or ICAEW is preferred.Good understanding of tax systems, automation tools, and corporate tax laws.
