Our Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland office is seeking an Associate to join the Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS) team. You will be an integral part of our team responsible for delivering against a number of day-to-day operational and financial requirements of the business. You will also have an active role in managing client relationships, responding to their queries and providing them with recommendations. Over time you can expect to learn how to run this business from the ground up and by building long standing relationships along the way there is a huge amount of growth potential in this role.

Within this team, your responsibilities could include:

Preparing tax pooling quotes for a wide range of tax agents, finance professionals and business owners

Monitoring inbox, inbound calls and responding to client requests

Completing a number of reconciliations and reports for our internal and external stakeholders

Preparation of funding requests

Supporting the TPS team with a variety of tasks in both a financial and operational capacity

Monitoring and completing tasks to comply with risk management obligations

Assisting the TPS team with business development, system development and other tasks where required

High attention to detail

Excellent communication skills

Good understanding of mathematics. Specifically with reconciling numbers and interest rates and overtime with support some basic financial modeling

A degree in Commerce, Accounting or similar is desirable

Natural inclination to build rapport and strong relationships with staff, existing and new clients

Ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities

Minimum of 2 years experience of working in an office environment
