**Required Skills:**
Tax Operations Manager Responsibilities:
1. Support Meta's legal entity profit split process (operational transfer pricing) for forecast and actual cycles.
2. Understand forecast and actual data and the impacts to by entity profitability and downstream process.
3. Support data needs from legal entity profit split workstream to provision and various US international tax calculations (such as FDII).
4. Support operationalizing new transfer pricing transactions from forecast cycles to actual.
5. Manage automated calculations in system environment and related manual and system SOX controls.
6. Supporting quarterly and annual global income tax provision calculations, various related inputs, and reporting process.
7. Manage special projects, including planning, reviewing transactions, managing external service providers, and presenting results.
8. Identify and assess process enhancement opportunities, plan and lead implementation.
9. Collaborate effectively with other cross-functional teams globally on inputs and deliverables.
10. Support US tax planning, including modeling, tax technical analysis and documentation.
11. Work with internal and external auditors around SOX compliance in designing, completely review procedures and providing appropriate supporting evidence.
12. Partner with rest of team to deliver analytical solutions and to determine impact of strategic business decisions and transactions.
**Minimum Qualifications:**

13. Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and 7 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation
14. Requires 7 years of experience in the following:

Technical proficiency in ASC740, including stock-based compensation, operational transfer pricing flows such as cost-sharing and recharges, accounting for foreign operations, outside-basis differences, uncertain tax positions, tax basis balance sheet, valuation allowance analysis, FIN48, initial public offering, financial statement carveout, financial statement restatements, corporate reorganization, and business combinations
16. 2. Tax technical skills, with broad knowledge of corporate taxation including mergers and acquisitions, international tax (FDII, BEAT, GILTI, Foreign Tax Credits, repatriation, cumulative earnings), IP migration and state and local tax
17. 3. Income tax compliance and provision software (OneSource or CorpTax)
18. 4. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System (Oracle, Hyperion, or related) and Extract Transform and Load tools (Alteryx, PowerQuery, PowerBI or related)
19. 5. Implementing and improving business processes and systems
20. 6. CPA license from any U.S. state or foreign equivalent
21. 7. Organizing large volume of information and identifying automation and digitization opportunities and
22. 8. Explaining complex concepts to a non-technical audience
**Public Compensation:**
$261,503/year to $287,650/year + bonus + equity + benefits
