Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Supervisor/Manager to join our team in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance and strategic tax planning for a variety of clients. Your expertise in corporate tax regulations and entity formation will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient tax processes. Responsibilities: • Manage the preparation and review of annual income tax provisions to ensure compliance with regulations. • Oversee corporate tax return filings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline tax preparation and reporting processes. • Provide guidance on sales tax compliance and reporting using CCH Sales Tax software. • Assist clients with entity formation, offering strategic tax advice tailored to their business needs. • Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide informed recommendations. • Train and mentor team members, fostering growth and knowledge sharing. • Collaborate with clients to develop tax strategies that align with their financial goals. • Conduct periodic reviews to identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. • Ensure timely and accurate responses to tax-related inquiries from clients and regulatory agencies. Requirements • Proven experience in managing annual income tax provisions and corporate tax filings. • Proficiency in CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax software. • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations. • Experience with entity formation and related tax implications. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and team members. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred. • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
