Description TAX MANAGER (CPA) – Public Accounting Practice Recruiting on behalf of our client in the Atlanta Metro area Are you an experienced tax professional ready to take on a leadership role? Our client, an established CPA firm, is seeking a Tax Manager to join their Tax Team. You’ll play a key role in guiding complex tax preparation and review engagements spanning high net worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates/trusts. Key Responsibilities: + Independently review tax return engagements to ensure quality and compliance. + Mentor and support other members of the Tax Team. + Prepare and file complex tax returns for diverse clients. + Organize supporting work papers and maintain high standards in documentation. + Collaborate within the team and maintain open communication with leadership. + Build and maintain positive client relationships through exceptional service. + Conduct tax research and keep current with tax law updates. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required). + Active CPA license (required). + At least 10 years of tax experience in public accounting (preferred). + Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills. + Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. + Proficiency with Thomson Reuters Ultra Tax CS is a plus.
