Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager with expertise in the trust and estate domain to join our dedicated services team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As a nationally recognized firm, we serve a diverse range of clients, providing specialized tax solutions for estates, trusts, and related areas. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with law firms and other reputable organizations, delivering high-quality design and administration services. Responsibilities: • Lead comprehensive tax planning and compliance efforts for trusts, estates, and fiduciary entities. • Manage the preparation and review of tax filings, including Forms 1041, 709, and 706. • Provide expert guidance on estate tax matters and strategies to minimize tax liabilities. • Collaborate with legal experts and other firms to design effective estate plans. • Handle tax-related aspects of entity formation and restructuring. • Conduct research and obtain private letter rulings (PLRs) in the areas of trusts, estates, and IRAs. • Oversee annual income tax provisions and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. • Support clients with trust and estate administration, ensuring accurate tax reporting. • Mentor team members at the entry level, fostering growth and development. • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice to clients. Requirements • CPA certification or equivalent qualification. • Extensive experience in trust and estate tax planning and compliance. • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, including fiduciary and estate filings. • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations related to trusts, estates, and IRAs. • Proven ability to collaborate with legal experts and other firms. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. • Commitment to staying current with industry trends and changes in tax legislation.
