Tax Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering expert tax solutions and fostering strong client relationships. This position offers the opportunity to lead engagements, mentor less experienced staff, and contribute to the growth of the firm while ensuring compliance and delivering quality services. Responsibilities: • Provide strategic tax guidance to clients, addressing industry-specific challenges and opportunities. • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients, serving as their primary advisor. • Manage and oversee the preparation of client deliverables, including financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documentation. • Collaborate with senior management to identify and secure new business opportunities, including client meetings and proposal presentations. • Ensure projects are completed within established timelines and budgets while maintaining high-quality standards. • Monitor engagement budgets to optimize efficiency and resource allocation. • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, fostering skill development and continuous learning. • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide clients with proactive solutions. • Participate in cross-selling activities to expand client services and drive business growth. • Travel as needed to meet client and business requirements. Benefits: Medical and dental, retirement savings, life and disability insurance, HSA, certification and education assistance, 5 weeks of PTO and 9 observed holidays Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field is required. • Minimum of six years of experience in public accounting or a related industry. • At least three years of supervisory experience, with proven leadership skills. • Active CPA or equivalent certification is required. • Ability to independently manage complete client engagements, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction at all organizational levels. • Proficiency in accounting software systems and tools to enhance efficiency and client service. • Willingness to travel based on client and business needs.
