Job Summary:
As a Senior Financial Analyst Associate within PwC’s Tax Line of Service (LoS) FP&A team, you will play a critical role in driving business performance through strategic financial reporting, data-driven insights, and robust planning processes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial support to Tax LoS leadership, contributing to the firm’s long-term growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Business Insights
Prepare and deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial reports for Tax LoS leadership.
Analyze variances and business performance trends, drawing actionable insights that influence strategic decisions.
Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities impacting financial outcomes.
Support tailored ad hoc analysis and executive-level presentations on business performance, profitability, and cost optimization.
Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
Lead the end-to-end planning process for the Tax LoS, including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning.
Partner with Business Unit leaders and Finance Business Partners (FBPs) to align forecasts with PwC's TLS growth strategy.
Identify trends, assumptions, and scenario modeling to enhance financial predictability and decision-making.
Manage financial models and tools to ensure consistent, efficient, and accurate planning processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
3–5+ years of relevant experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, preferably within professional services or a matrixed organization.
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
