From sales and use tax to property and international filings, our team manages the full spectrum of tax responsibilities for a multinational manufacturing company. We collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and Operations to uphold accuracy, transparency, and fiscal responsibility across the enterprise. About The Role: As a Tax Intern, you’ll gain hands-on experience in the full-cycle tax processes of a global corporation—from preparing returns and processing payments to conducting tax research and responding to audits. This internship is designed for students who want more than clerical work—it’s a chance to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world setting, contribute to meaningful projects, and build a strong foundation in corporate tax operations. So, what will you be doing as a Tax Intern? + Assist with sales, use, and property tax compliance, including preparing returns, processing payments, and reviewing assessments. + Conduct tax research and support special projects related to federal, state, and local tax issues. + Help identify, research, and assess various tax topics, providing insights to senior staff. + Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities and assist with audit documentation. + Maintain organized records and contribute to process improvement initiatives. + Collaborate with team members on cross-functional projects and reporting. + Other duties as assigned. To be successful in this role, you’ll need: + Completion of at least one college-level accounting course. + Actively pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferably graduating May 2027 or later). + Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Willingness to take initiative and learn in a fast-paced environment. Things we consider a plus: + GPA of 3.5 or higher. + Prior experience with tax, accounting, or finance-related coursework or internships. + Interest in corporate tax strategy or regulatory compliance. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Curiosity about how tax impacts business decisions and operations.
