Love your job.** **Role: Tax Accountant, SG & ROA** **Work Arrangement:** Onsite, Based in Kuala Lumpur (MYS) In this role, the **Tax Accountant** prepares and completes tax returns and reports involved with federal, state, local, property, sales, and other tax liabilities. As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for meeting all required deadlines, maintaining current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company, reviewing proposals for tax implications and recommending actions that meet the business plans while managing the tax liability. Additionally, you will assist in tax audits and may be involved with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions. As a Tax Accountant, you will be part of a dynamic and energetic team and will play a hybrid role in running the tax planning and compliance activities of the company. Within the entity, you will:- + Complies with federal tax filing requirements **primarily focus on Singapore** by adhering to requirements; performs tax accounting; calculating estimated tax payments; advising management on required actions; assembling data for monthly and annual indirect tax and corporate income tax filings; and studying regulations. + Responds to financial and tax inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data. + Provides tax advice by studying operational issues; applying taxation principles and practices; formulate tax solutions; developing recommendations. + Work across departmental divisions to determine the best processes are in place across the organization to ensure tax compliance + Updates technical knowledge by keeping current with tax regulations and accepted practices; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. + Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. **Role: General Ledger (GL) Accountant, SG & ROA** **Work Arrangement:** Onsite, Based in Kuala Lumpur (MYS) As a **General Ledger (GL) Accountant** , you will be involved in General Ledger controlling and reporting, compliance, tax, statutory, and multiple general accounting and reporting activities, along with a range of other financial reconciliation and control tasks as required within the team. + Responsible for balancing books periodically by preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining and reconciling ledger accounts, providing record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. + Responsible for preparing profit and loss statement, and balance sheet statement to management team and external parties. + Prepare and be responsible for internal or external reporting required within Malaysia by collecting data, analyzing, and investigating variances, and summarizing data and trends. + Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders. + Support preparation of statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors and other stakeholders. + Engage in supporting the US GAAP Internal audit, External audit and SOX Compliance. + Accomplish finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed. + Ensure robust controls for transaction processing, accounting process and close activities, and compliance reporting according to Malaysia accounting standards (MFRS), and TI policies and procedures. + Proactively identify new initiatives that could benefit TI with process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives with automation process. + Develop recommendations to optimize current process and procedures and detect inaccuracies. + Liaison with the other TI sites for best practice sharing and process improvements. **Why TI?** + Engineer your future.
