It also includes the provision of tax support to Diageo’s business units, delivery of projects to create shareholder value, and proactive management and mitigation of key tax risks, compliance and reporting. This is a part-time role that will deliver general tax compliance support to the NA tax team with emphasis on state and local tax support, compliance with state licensing requirements and other regulations to ensure seamless business operations. **Role Responsibilities** **:** + Provide general state and local tax compliance support + Gather financial data (SAP, DBS, Regional Finance), and support cash tax process + Support indirect tax processes + Responsible for maintenance of business licenses to ensure business continuity in various state tax jurisdictions + Responsible for all compliance related payments including tax return payments, estimates, notices, audit payments and all aspects of indirect tax payments + Coupa user for tax team + Assist with team budget Leadership Responsibilities and Capabilities: + Responsible for displaying Diageo Values + Responsible for representing Group Tax with cross functional stakeholders, including NA Finance, DBS and other group functions. **Experience** **/ skills** **required:** + 3+ years corporate tax experience in industry and/or public accounting + Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize workload appropriately + SAP knowledge preferred + Familiarity with tax compliance payment procedures + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting or finance **Diversity statement:** Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere.
