As a Corporate Tax Consultant, you’ll be the go-to person for corporate income tax matters. From capital allowances to tax analysis, you’ll be working effectively to making sure our statements are efficient and compliant. You’ll also liaise on a day-to-day basis with the Head of Tax and the senior finance team to provide your valuable insight into Corporate Tax matters.

What you'll do

 

Your role will be to support the team mainly on corporate income tax matters to include capital allowances, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, general tax analysis etc with a view to efficient and effective compliance. Preparation of supporting working papers including assembly of data into tax returns and payment calculationsInterrogation of accounting systems and analysis of outputs from other departmentsAd hoc consulting and advisory projects Liaising with internal stakeholders, information providers, external advisers and revenue authorities Generally support compliance including process control design and testingWhat you'll need

 

CTA qualification is advantageousGood understanding of book keeping and accounting principles including journal adjustments and GL reconciliationsSoftware skills (Google Sheets, excel; word; PowerPoint; SAP)Retail Industry experience is desirableExcellent interpersonal and communication skills Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challengesCommitment to lifelong learning and personal developmentAbility to work independently, managing conflicting priorities with ease and efficiencyAn excellent communicator and multi-tasker with exceptional organisational abilitiesWhat you'll receive

Non-qualified CTA salary range: £49,500* up to £66,000* depending on experience

CTA Qualified salary range: £60,500* up to £82,500* depending on experience

 

*Includes additional 10% non-contractual London Weighting allowance
