In this role You will:
Performing tax coding for input invoices promptly and with precisionConducting validations and reconciliations for supported countries, with a sharp focus on addressing any discrepanciesProcessing data additions and corrections efficiently to maintain data integrityIndependently resolving queries and issues, referencing SOPs and past experiences, calling out when necessaryCollaborating with team members to enhance processes, analyze information, and tackle challenges to meet team objectivesSupporting Accountants as needed, aiding in information collection and documentation for tax auditsAdhering to timelines and guidance from the Line Manager/Senior AccountantMaintaining thorough documentation of process activities and data applied/createdWhat You will need to be successful:
Relevant degree in accounting or a related fieldsome experience, or interest in Finance, indirect tax accounting and reporting preferredStrong language (English) and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client responsivenessExcellent analytical skills, numeracy, and financial competenceCustomer-centric and service-oriented attitudeAbility to thrive under pressure and take decisive actionConfidence in internal interactions and effective communication skillsProven ability to collaborate and cooperate within a team environmentAt bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you:
