Tax Compliance and Reporting ManagerAre you an experienced tax professional with a sharp eye for compliance and a passion for accuracy? At AkzoNobel, we’re looking for a Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager to join our dynamic team in Amsterdam. In this role, you'll take ownership of Dutch corporate tax compliance and reporting, with opportunities to improve processes and collaborate across teams.
Your Impact
As our Tax Compliance and Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in:
• Preparing and filing the Dutch fiscal unity corporate income tax return
• Determining the quarterly Dutch IFRS tax position
• Managing key aspects of group tax reporting and transparency, including: (Public) Country-by-Country Reporting, DAC6, Pillar Two compliance
• Handling Dutch dividend and withholding tax processes
• Engaging with external auditors, Dutch tax authorities, and internal stakeholders
• Driving improvements in tax compliance and reporting processes
Note: This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.
What You Bring
• 6+ years of experience in tax compliance and/or accounting
• Strong knowledge of Dutch tax law and IFRS standards
• A completed HBO or WO degree in Tax Law, Accounting, or a related field
Skills and Strengths
• Strong analytical skills and a high level of accuracy
• Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written
