This full-time, permanent role is based in Gdansk with hybrid working available.

As a Tax Associate, you'll work as part of the Tax Research Team, a friendly global team that maintains a particular focus on ONESOURCE, Thomson Reuters' industry leading tax and accountancy software. Through ONESOURCE, we ensure that our customers are equipped with the intelligence, technology and expertise that they need to track and manage their global tax affairs.

About the Role

As tax laws change globally, the Indirect Tax Research Team are responsible for delivering content updates for the ONESOURCE's Indirect Tax Determination product. We're part of the content driven tax technology business, so you'll have the opportunity to learn about worldwide indirect taxes and will be involved in building and maintaining a product used by some of the biggest companies in the world.

The Tax Associate, you will be responsible for researching, configuring and testing our product to ensure that ONESOURCE™ complies with indirect tax rules in complex and demanding tax authorities, with a particular focus on the United States.

As a Tax Associate at Thomson Reuters, you will:

Research, analyse, interpret and document tax laws and regulations in place in the USA to enable accurate tax determination.

Monitor tax statutes, regulations, legislative activity, court decisions, compliance forms, on a continuous basis to stay informed of changes in laws and regulations.

Work with the wider product team to implement new content and content changes within ONESOURCE. You'll be comfortable working to specific deadlines.

Design and execute test scenarios to ensure content accuracy and functionality

Research, respond and resolve client issues in partnership with Customer Support

About You

You're a fit for the role of Tax Associate if you have:

A degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance or a related field.

A collaborative mindset with an eye for detail. We're looking for someone with strong research and analytical skills that enjoys problem solving.

An interest in global tax affairs (with a specific interest in learning more about statutes and legislation that will affect specific states in the USA).

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a global team.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

Written and spoken fluency in English
