The opportunity

Working at EY People Advisory Services team offers fantastic opportunities to develop client relationships early on in your career and to be involved in the day to day delivery and management of relationships across a broad range of issues above and beyond tax compliance and advisory. To grow our PAS team we are looking for a person who will be intrinsic in delivering high quality services to our clients.

 

Your key responsibilities

Preparation/review of personal income tax returns and review of income tax calculations Preparation/review of tax equalization calculations Contributing to client service teams, helping ensure they function smoothly and effectively Preparation of written advices for clients, and helping to advice clients on global mobility matters Provide day to day advice to assignees throughout the lifecycle of the assignment Conducting arrival/departure briefings Involvement in business development/proposals Building and maintaining good relationships with clients from different industries Regular client contact with clients’ HR department to support case management and compliance Being the day to day contact for allocated clients

 

Skills and attributes for success

Awareness of personal income tax, social security and immigration legislation, as well as relevant employment law and other business or economic forces At least 1-3 years of related tax experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Croatian and English and substantial MS Office knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to adopt a team approach and build rapport with both the client and the engagement team

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

Strong attention to detail Proactive, team player, pragmatic, with great ability to prioritize tasks Strong communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels, as well as external partners High level of personal responsibility and accountability for own work Capable of working to deadlines, showing resilience under pressure and ability to apply knowledge to non-routine situations
