Primary Responsibilities 

Data Collection and Consolidation: 
- Source and consolidate financial and operational data from internal systems within the Tax and Legal (TLS) Line of Service. 
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and timely availability for decision-making. 

Report Generation: 
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting packs for TLS Finance leadership. 
- Develop dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI or Excel to support business insights. 
- Produce ad hoc reports to support TLS business and strategic priorities. 

Analysis and Insights: 
- Perform variance analysis and financial trend assessments against forecast, budget, and historical performance. 
- Provide value-added insights and commentary on operational and financial drivers impacting performance. 
- Collaborate with FP&A and Business Partnering teams to support planning cycles. 

Automation and Process Improvement: 
- Identify opportunities for automation in recurring reporting and data validation processes. 
- Develop and maintain automated reporting tools using Excel macros, Alteryx workflows, or BI tools. 
- Contribute to digital upskilling initiatives within the Finance team. 

Stakeholder Engagement: 
- Work closely with TLS Finance Business Partners, Finance Operations, and the broader Middle East Finance team. 
- Support cross-functional discussions with Tax and Legal LoS leadership, translating data into clear business actions. 

Key Skills Required 

- Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI; familiarity with Alteryx is a plus. 

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

- Solid understanding of key financial metrics and performance indicators relevant to professional services. 

- Clear and effective communication skills, including the ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders. 

- Capability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple priorities.

Where MI Associates Fit Within the Organization 

- The MI Associate will be part of the TLS Finance team, reporting to the TLS Finance Manager or Senior Finance Business Partner. 

- They will work closely with other finance teams across PwC Middle East, contributing to the firmwide reporting strategy. 

- This role supports strategic and operational decision-making for the TLS leadership team.
