Tax Analyst with possibility of 2-year contract
Assist with tax reporting, compliance, planning and tax audits to maximize tax savings opportunities that contribute to shareholder value while fulfilling tax payment and reporting obligations. The Honeywell Tax team strives to timely and accurately manage the taxes related to Honeywell operations. This includes accurate and efficient filing, audit defense, analyzing areas of possible over payment and overseeing operating processes related to the company's tax incentives. We have an opportunity for a **Tax Analyst** to join our team in Bucharest. **Responsibilities:** + Produces VAT return information from the accounting system. + Reconciliation of the VAT control accounts and records + E-recs approval. + Acts as Secondary VAT return reviewer for new joiners & VAT approver for in- house compliance. + Maintains the accuracy of VAT transactions on the accounting systems. + Supports the implementation of new business, systems and processes into the RFC, may participate in the SAP implementation of new businesses within EMEA. + Executes SAP/ ERP VAT setting for accurate VAT reporting. + VAT Master data control maintenance in own cluster (VAT registration numbers, Territory zones, Commodity codes); + Contributes to the smooth running of the RFC VAT Team by performing other tasks as required. **WE VALUE** + Minimum of 2 years experience in tax + CPA & advance degree with an emphasis in taxation + Basic knowledge of US international tax law and regulations. + US GAAP Financial Accounting/ASC 740 knowledge. + Understanding tax implications of multi-national company + Demonstrated ability to deliver complex solutions without supervision. + Strong analytical & problems solving skills + Effective verbal and written communication skills Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
