Job DescriptionThis is a hybrid role in Perrysburg, Ohio.
This position encompasses all aspects of domestic tax compliance and accounting work. You will also have exposure to state taxation, foreign taxation, reporting, and planning.
Responsibilities:
North America compliance (US Consolidated, US International, US States, and Canada) preparation and supportPrepare US Book-Tax Sch M’sTax technical research, monitor, interpret, and communicate legislative and regulatory changesPrepare various technical calculations (SubPart F, GILTI, Fixed Assets, 987 G/L, 988 G/L, R&D, UNICAP, Mgmt Fee)International and domestic tax accounting work, including review of international operation provisionsUS state compliance and provision workChallenge various technical calculations for accuracy, process efficiency, or update and apply new law changes to the processProvide support for tax planning projects (E&P studies, valuation data, dividend planning, tax modeling, tax research, etc..)Partner with Tax Planning Manager and Regions to implement tax planning ideasAssist with the implementation of transfer pricing initiatives, projects, policies and proceduresAnalyze processes to interpret and prepare technical write-up and support (substantial contribution, management fee functional analysis, etc..)Working with external auditors on supporting documentation and information requestsManage multiple assignments and independently communicate with corporate functions, regions and operations to resolve questions or secure necessary informationIdentify and implement ideas for refined processes, time savers, and cost savingsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA or advanced degree (MST/JD/MBA) preferred2+ years of experience in public accounting or industryExperience in domestic corporate tax, and tax accountingStrong analytical skillsAbility to work well and communicate effectively within diverse, global teamsExperience using Tagetik, Hyperion, and SAP a plus but not requiredAdditional InformationSalary Range:
The salary range for this position will be determined by the role level— Intermediate, or Senior. $85,000- $110,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
