Tax Analyst
**Meaningful Work From Day One:** The Tax Analyst is responsible for the meticulous preparation of calculations and the timely submission of various monthly and annual tax returns, encompassing federal, state, and local jurisdictions. Additionally, this role involves the execution and ongoing oversight of recurring corporate tax compliance projects. Scope: Mexico, Panama, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. **What You Can Expect:** + Develop and submit monthly and annual direct and indirect tax returns in compliance with all relevant fiscal laws and regulations. + Preparation and filing of various informative declarations concerning IEPS (Mexican excise tax). + Preparation and submission of monthly informational returns DIOT. + Prepare statutory calculations for taxable income, current tax, and deferred tax, including the annual tax true-up adjustment, in accordance with U.S. GAAP. + Prepare, initiate, and monitor tax refund requests with relevant authorities. + Prepare documentation and work papers to address tax authority requests and ensure timely follow-up on all requirements. + Prepare information for tax audits (internal and external) and collaborate on reviews to ensure a successful outcome. + Supervision and management of documentation and information pertaining to labor, tax, and social security, specifically as it relates to the administration of REPSE-registered suppliers. + Overseeing the preparation and submission of monthly electronic accounting records. + Evaluation of CFDI compliance. + Assist in the procurement of tax stamps (marbete fiscal), collaborating with the Production Planning and Import teams. + Reconciling accounting income with databases from the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and internal accounting systems. **What You Bring to the Table:** + Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance (Mexican equivalent to Bachelor's Degree). + Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a similar corporate tax department role, complemented by public accounting experience, is required. + Proficiency in English is preferred. + Experience in US GAAP and MEX GAAP. + Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. + Adept analytical and problem-solving capabilities. + Leadership. + Excellent written and verbal communication skills. + Collaboration is essential (teamwork). **What Makes You Unique:** + Experience in multinational organizations with a broad global presence. **Who We Are** We believe great people build great brands.
