Elevate Tax Operations by supporting Strategic Innovation, Transformation and Technological Integration
We are seeking a dynamic Tax Process Transformation analyst to support our team mission to streamline processes and build scalable solutions for tax reporting and compliance. In this role, you'll support other senior leaders on the team and may collaborate with tax, finance, technology, and strategic teams to gather requirements, develop standardized data sets, support the design and implementation of solutions that streamline complex tax processes and drive organizational efficiency.
Key job responsibilities
- Support senior leaders responsible for the design and implementation of comprehensive process improvement strategies for tax reporting and compliance.
- Own data analysis, project metric reporting, and other project report outs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and identify gaps and areas for improvement and standardization/integration.
- Compile detailed documentation of requirements, organize technical solutions, controls, use cases, and impact.
- Track the status of key deliverables against planned timelines and manage the deadlines with the working teams.
A day in the life
Your day will be a blend of data analysis, problem solving, documentation and project management. You will have opportunities to participate in collaboration efforts on solutions and develop the pros/cons of various alternatives. You will support senior leaders in providing the information necessary to make key decisions. You will engage with working team members and technology teams to ensure project deadlines are completed timely.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- 1+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Experience with data analysis and developing easy to understand reports
- Experience with managing timelines with working team members across functions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $47,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $102,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
