Amazon's Tax Exemption Program (ATEP) is seeking a Tax Analyst to join the Bratislava team under Tax Engine. ATEP is a program allowing eligible Amazon customers to present exemption certificates that let them purchase products without paying sales tax in certain situations.

The Tax Analyst will be responsible for monitoring exemption creation activity, carrying out remediation actions where appropriate, making regular updates to the ATEP user interface, and performing other functions in the tax exemption space. The candidate may be asked to propose improvements to processes, metrics, or documentation based on a thorough knowledge of their areas of responsibility.

Base pay for this position starts from EUR 2133 gross per month and salary depends on the skills and requirements, there will be further pay components such as a sign on bonus and the eligibility to participate in a restricted stock unit scheme operated independently by Amazon.com Inc. in USA. • Seek review and guidance from broader and/or management team as appropriate
• Present regular team and project updates using metrics, KPIs, and narrative explanations
• Provide a reliable point of contact between ATEP local team, ensuring excellent visibility and communication on all projects
• Work with other teams within Amazon to unblock the local team’s progress
