Location Description Welcome to Naples Grande Beach Resort, a prestigious property in the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio, nestled in the heart of Naples, Florida. Featuring 474 elegantly appointed guest rooms and boasting an expansive 85,000 square feet of meeting space across 35 versatile rooms, our resort isn't just a place to work; it's a dynamic experience. Overview The Front Desk Supervisor provides guidance and leadership as the lead Front Office Clerk, ensuring consistent, high-quality customer service is delivered. Key Responsibilities: Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff. Monitor lobby traffic and adjust staffing levels as needed. Greet guests promptly and sincerely upon arrival. Complete the registration process efficiently, inputting and retrieving information from the computer system and confirming all pertinent guest details (e.g., number of guests, room rate). Promote Pyramid Hotel Group’s marketing programs to guests. Assign rooms appropriately based on guest needs; non-verbally confirm room number and rate. Maintain continuous mobility throughout the front office area. Handle cash transactions, make change, and balance assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, traveler’s checks, and other forms of payment. Convert foreign currency at the current posted exchange rates. Perform accurate, moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer system. Answer telephone calls promptly and clearly using positive and professional language. Input messages into the system and ensure timely delivery to guests. Retrieve and distribute guest mail, small packages, and facsimiles as requested. Stay calm and alert during emergency situations or periods of high guest activity, serving as a role model for the Front Office team. Resolve guest issues by conducting thorough research and determining effective solutions. Exercise sound judgment and experience to make decisions and adjust procedures as necessary. Authorize revenue allowances when appropriate, after exhausting all other reasonable solutions. Maintain regular attendance in accordance with Pyramid Hotel Group standards. Qualifications The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities, and be able to demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, or through an equivalent combination of skills and abilities: Ability to effectively interact with internal and external guests, including those who may require a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts and defuse difficult situations. Prior experience with PMS Opera Cloud Basic mathematical skills are required. Proficiency in accessing and accurately inputting data into a moderately complex computer system. Ability to stand, walk, and perform tasks continuously while positioned behind the front desk. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to prepare detailed reports on room availability and revenue generation. Qualification Standards Education: High school diploma required. Some college coursework preferred. Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will also be considered. Experience: Prior experience not required. Two years of combined front desk and supervisory experience preferred. Grooming: All employees are expected to maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards. Other Requirements: Multilingual applicants are preferred. The hotel operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As such, all employees—both management and hourly—must be flexible and understand that business demands may require changes to their scheduled shifts. Compensation Range The compensation for this position is $20.00/Hr. - $21.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
