Leidos National Security Sector (NSS) is seeking a highly experienced and skilled mission-driven Targeting Analyst to support APOLLO/OPIAS in Tampa, FL. This role involves providing intelligence analysis and target development expertise as part of Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), and contributes directly to the validation, nomination, and assessment of targets by analyzing adversary systems, networks, and capabilities. This position is on a future contract pending award announcement.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Target System Analysis (TSA) to identify critical nodes, vulnerabilities, and centers of gravity within adversary networks.Support target development, validation, and nomination in accordance with the Joint Targeting Cycle (JP 3-60).Analyze intelligence reporting and all-source data to identify targets that align with Joint Desired Effects (JDEs) and commander's objectives.Produce detailed Target Intelligence Packages (TIPs) and Target Development Nominations (TDNs) that support component-level and Joint Task Force operations.Collaborate with operational planners, weaponeers, and legal advisors to ensure that target intelligence supports effects-based planning, collateral damage estimation (CDE), and rules of engagement (ROE).Maintain awareness of adversary Order of Battle (OOB), force dispositions, and infrastructure through close coordination with J2, JIOC, and IC partners.Leverage tools such as MIDB, JTT, GEMINI, FADE/MIST, and PRISM for target vetting, BDA, and strike planning.Track target status, effectiveness, and re-attack recommendations as part of the Combat Assessment process.Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence Studies, National Security, International Relations, or a related field8+ years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis or targeting support within a Joint or Component CommandExperience with ISR integration and multi-discipline intelligence fusion to support target vetting and validationFamiliarity with key joint doctrine: JP 2-0 (Intelligence), JP 3-60 (Joint Targeting), and JP 5-0 (Joint Planning)Demonstrated proficiency in target development, TSA, and the Joint Targeting CycleActive TS/SCI security clearancePreferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Intelligence, Security Studies, or Strategic StudiesCertified graduate of Joint Targeting School (JTS) or equivalent service schoolPrior experience supporting Joint Fires Elements (JFE), J39, or J2 within a CCMD, CAOC, or JTFKnowledge of F3EAD, D3A, and CARVER methodologiesProficiency with geospatial and SIGINT analysis tools, including NGA datasets and link analysis softwareCome break things (in a good way). Pay Range:Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
