Tank Farm Operator - 2nd Shift

The Opportunity

 

As a Tank Farm Operator, you’ll be at the heart of our operations — safely moving and handling materials that help support our environmental mission. 

 

This position will be working on the 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday starting at ~2-3PM and ending at 11:30PM EST. 

Key Job Responsibilities

 

Load and unload tankers, tanks, trucks, and railcars. Ensure tank/tanker movements are followed per daily plan. Take samples of drums for compatibility tests. Track drums that have been processed. Keep the area clean and organized. Operate and assist with maintaining pumps, valves, storage equipment, and associated equipment. Inspect treatment and storage equipment, any gauges, dials, recorders, etc. as required for proper operation and maintenance in the facility. Assist with area compliance activities such as LDAR, VOC emissions, maintain secondary containment, etc. Operate the area in compliance with the RCRA Permit. Uphold Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance by ensuring all operations adhere to relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies, while fostering a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.  Assist in performing daily inspections. Performs other operations and maintenance tasks as assigned.  Qualifications

 

High school diploma or equivalent experience One year of hazardous waste industry experience is desirable   Working knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations a plus One year Tank Farm experience is a plus   Forklift operations experience   Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check, are required Ability to work the schedule for which you are hired for Ability to work on-site as described in the job description Ability to read, write, and understand English

The pay for this position ranges between $23-26/hour, based on experience.
