Tanium Administrator
Job Description Roles and Responsibilities include but not limited to: • Design and implementation of Tanium endpoint software to a large enterprise environment • Conduct detailed analysis of software and patch status. • Assist customers in creating questions for endpoints • Good understanding of Role-Based Access control setting in Tanium from a platform standpoint. • Review scripts as needed to assist customers with issues. • Analyze reports and make recommendations for remediation. • Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for customers and management. • May be required to work off-shift, weekend, and overtime hours We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below: • Basic understanding of Sensors, Custom Tags, Scheduled Actions, topology of Tanium platform, user groups. • Basic understanding of the following Tanium Modules: Interact, Asset, Comply, Deploy, Discover, Enforce, Integrity Monitor, Patch and Performance. •Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5 years of relevant experience. 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of degree. • Experience with Tanium software preferred – Other endpoint management software (i.e. Big Fix, SCCM) may be substituted considered • A thorough understanding of how applications install on the Microsoft Windows platforms. • Strong proficiency in scripting language – Powershell and/or VB. • Having a Tanium Certified Operator or Certified Administrator is a plus • Strong problem solving skills and goal driven • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time • Experience working in a large enterprise environment and networks.
