The opportunity
Reporting to the Canadian Talent Enablement Manager, the Talent Operations Senior Systems Specialist is a key member of the Talent Enablement team responsible for leading talent technology, compliance and reporting processes across Canada. This position consults with all levels of the firm while engaging in both local and global talent technology projects. The responsibilities of this role are diverse and require a strong foundation in talent technology, along with relevant talent experience and skills, preferably in SuccessFactors Employee Central and ServiceNow. The role will directly supervise Talent system analysts.
Your key responsibilities
Talent Technology Projects:
Leads and actively engages in key talent initiatives for Canada, including system upgrades, SuccessFactors releases, automation/AI initiatives and process improvement. Independently manages complex projects, encompassing the gathering of business requirements, identification of process impact/redesign, stakeholder identification and engagement, data conversion, system integration, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Provides insights into resource allocation to adapt to changing project and program needs. Oversees project plans, stakeholder communication strategies, task lists and documentation (such as work instructions or training materials), ensuring accuracy and relevance. Leads various testing initiatives and trains stakeholders on talent systems and processes (both new or enhanced) including the development and delivery of training content and materials. Facilitates solutions across projects and programs by fostering ongoing working relationships, identifying technology improvements, and establishing efficient processes across multiple groups.
HR systems & operational processes:
Manages local EY Talent systems including benefits, payroll, vacation administration, provision management. Specialized in understanding global integrations and their impacts on various systems, including SuccessFactors, ServiceNow and SAP. Analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to HR leadership and management. Stay updated on HR reporting best practices and technology trends to enhance reporting capabilities. Utilizes expertise to research and resolve deployment and production issues. Manages annual operational projects, such as firm-wide fiscal year organisational change activities and annual promotions. Manages the development of system specification documentation and analysis as needed. Drives ongoing operational excellence, quality and timely HR data. Recommends additional opportunities to standardize and streamline HR Systems work. Collaborates with content owners to manage and maintain content in Sharepoint that provides Talent Information for local audiences.
Team Supervision
Directly responsible for assigning tasks, coaching team members, and conducting performance reviews. Foster a proactive team environment that encourages members to identify challenges, solve problems, and escalate issues or opportunities for enhanced efficiencies.
Skills and attributes for success
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years experience in HR Systems (SuccessFactors) 3-5 years Project Management and HR Process 1+ years leading/ coaching staff

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $75,600 to $113,400. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
