Talent Analytics Lead
Aon is in the business of better decisions
At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.
As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive team and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.
What the day will look like
+ Own end-to-end delivery of analytics projects — from data exploration and modeling to deployment and impact measurement
+ Collaborate with the product owner to refine product requirements and identify high-value analytics opportunities
+ Design and build scalable analytics pipelines and reusable tools or dashboards
+ Bring statistical and machine learning models into practice to support decision-making
+ Translate complex data findings into clear narratives for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Over time, hire, coach, and lead a small team of analytics professionals
+ Contribute to product strategy, roadmaps, and cross-functional planning
How this opportunity is different
Aon’s breadth of product offerings and global reach give us massive access to data and information, which in turn provides a unique opportunity to innovate and build and differentiating solutions for clients. But for Aon to capitalize on these opportunities, it requires a globally coordinated effort, an effort that the Aon Centre for Innovation and Analytics (ACIA) in Singapore is heavily investing towards.
We’re looking for a technical, hands-on Analytics Lead to help shape and scale our Talent Analytics capabilities. In this role, you’ll initially work independently to design and deliver high-impact analytics solutions. As the team matures, you’ll grow into a leadership position, building and mentoring a team of analytics practitioners.
You’ll partner closely with a product owner who brings strong domain and business context and is looking for a true technical counterpart — someone comfortable with data engineering, statistical modeling, and solution development who can help take ideas from concept to production.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ 5–8+ years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or data engineering roles
+ BA/BS/MS/PHD in economics, math, statistics, computer science or equivalent
+ Strong programming skills in Python and/or R
+ Experience or interest in talent, people, or HR Analytics or labor economics
+ Experience with data platforms and tools such as Databricks, Spark, or equivalent big data environments
+ Solid foundation in statistics, experimentation, and/or predictive modeling
+ Comfortable working autonomously in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
+ Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
+ Prior experience leading or mentoring junior analysts or data scientists
Nice-to-Have:
+ Familiarity with tools like dbt, Airflow, SQL-based ETL, or modern data stacks
+ Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile/scrum methodologies, and app development concepts
+ Exposure to product development or embedded analytics products
How we support our colleagues
In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce. Plus, our agile environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon. Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two “Global Wellbeing Days” each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself. We offer a variety of working style solutions for our colleagues as well.
Our continuous learning culture inspires and equips you to learn, share and grow, helping you achieve your fullest potential. As a result, at Aon, you are more connected, more relevant, and more valued.
Aon values an innovative and inclusive workplace where all colleagues feel empowered to be their authentic selves. Aon is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
Aon provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran, marital, domestic partner status, or other legally protected status.
