We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager of Recruiting to lead our recruiting team in attracting, engaging, and hiring top talent to drive business growth and success. The Senior Manager of Recruiting will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive recruiting strategies, managing the recruiting team, and fostering strong relationships with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Senior Manager, you will inspire and guide a cross-functional team, ensuring operational excellence and delivering exceptional candidate experiences. You’ll foster an environment built on transparency, collaboration, and engagement, while implementing creative strategies that position Lockheed Martin as an employer of choice.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Proactively develop and execute recruiting strategies to meet business objectives and ever-changing business needs acting with speed and agility.
• Lead and manage a team of recruiting leaders, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure team success
• Act as key spokesperson for the MFC GTA organization in leading meetings and presentations across all levels and cross-functionally
• Collaborate with HRDs/HRBPs to understand recruiting needs and create effective recruiting plans
• Manage the sign on budget, ensuring effective use of resources and ROI on recruiting investments
• Develop and implement metrics to measure recruiting effectiveness, including time-to-hire, source of hire, and candidate satisfaction
• Lead the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and knowledge management systems to ensure consistency, scalability, and sustainability of recruiting operations.
• Develop and execute process improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality within the recruiting team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to recruiting and hiring
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in recruiting, making recommendations for process improvements and innovations

Basic Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years in Recruiting and 5 years in a Sr. Manager role
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of operational excellence concepts, including continuous improvement, waste reduction and performance metrics
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects including, stakeholder identification, developing project plans, preparing corresponding communication plans, identifying milestones, deadlines, and metrics
• Track record of implementing process improvements and optimizing operations to achieve increased efficiency, productivity and quality
• Proven track record of success in developing and executing recruiting strategies, managing recruiting teams, and driving business results
• Strong knowledge of recruiting principles, practices, and technologies, including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate relationship management (CRM) tools
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal and executive presence skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
