Key responsibilities
Become the central interface between business and talent acquisition at ABB's Ratingen site: You will acquire suitable talent for growing areas and work closely with the Mannheim Talent Acquisition team. You will be responsible for end-to-end recruiting, ensure smooth processes with talent and managers, and continuously develop our talent acquisition processes – always aligned with Group guidelines. This will enable you to create scalable structures, improve recruitment quality, and make a visible contribution to the company's success.
In addition to the ABB factory site in Ratingen, including decentralized business units, your area of responsibility also includes the Busch-Jaeger Elektro brand with its factory locations in Lüdenscheid and Bad Berleburg/Aue.
The work model for the role is: hybrid (#LI-Hybrid)
You will be mainly accountable for:
Responsibility for end-to-end recruiting for the business of our Ratingen factory site and the Busch-Jaeger brand in close coordination with internal departments and the Talent Team in Mannheim
Development of strong talent pipelines (active sourcing, networks, campaigns) and increasing the fill rate
Advising executives and hiring managers on recruitment-related topics and supporting decision-making
Planning and conducting structured interviews as well as designing, coordinating, and submitting contract offers
Ensuring a smooth candidate experience for applicants (job posting, scheduling, feedback, offer processing) and utilizing ATS and automation
Scaling TA processes in line with Group standards and improving relevant KPIs (time to hire, quality of hire, conversion)
Participation in TA projects (digitalization, employer branding, Assessments) and implementation of practical improvements
Qualifications for the role
Completed degree in business administration, psychology, human resources management, or a comparable field
Several years of professional experience in recruitment – both in corporate recruiting and preferably in HR consulting/services
Fluent written and spoken German and English
In-depth knowledge of modern interview methods, active sourcing, and the German labor market
Strong initiative, structured working practices, and networked thinking to successfully manage complex recruiting processes
Strong communication skills, a solution-oriented approach, and a confident demeanor with internal stakeholders and applicants
Willingness to travel occasionally to Busch-Jaeger Elektro locations
