This is a hybrid position that will be located near an Upper Midwest office.
A day in the life.
As our Regional Talent Acquisition Manager on the Human Resources team, you’ll be responsible for the talent acquisition strategy for the Upper Midwest Region. This position oversees the talent acquisition team in the region and is also responsible for individually sourcing candidates for assigned roles by proactively sourcing, sharing the MMA story, developing relationships and identifying the best candidates to present to hiring managers. The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for developing, executing and overseeing department projects and initiatives, presenting updates to Executive Leadership teams, and serves as a resource for Talent Acquisition teams nationally

Developing and leading the execution of a talent acquisition strategy, goals/initiatives including recommending improvements to the recruiting process, as well as managing relationships with talent vendors and partners.Building a compelling employment and recruiting brand. Partnering with Internal Communications to improve awareness of open positions through improved job postings and descriptions—to show the enviable culture and career paths provided. Ensure recruiting messages align with the organization’s recruiting brand.Leading a team in sourcing top industry talent across multiple locations. Holds self and the team accountable to building and managing a talent pipeline of potential passive and active candidates through proactive labor market and industry research and ongoing relationship management.These additional qualifications are required:
5+ years’ experience in either a corporate or agency recruiting role required3+ years’ experience leading a recruiting teamExperience utilizing candidate sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter and other platformsKnowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems; experience in Workday Recruiting preferredRelationship builder with leaders and hiring managers across the region, in support of the recruiter(s) while laser focused on the overall candidate experience.Background in recruiting in insurance or professional services industries is preferredWe know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
