Talent Acquisition Coordinator
Are you ready to join a growing team? CTG is seeking to fill a Talent Acquisition Coordinator opening for our client in Buffalo, NY. Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid – Mon–Wed in office; Thu–Fri remote) Duration: 6 months Overview: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports the full hiring lifecycle, ensuring a seamless candidate and hiring manager experience. This role handles interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and various administrative tasks that drive efficient talent acquisition operations. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, hiring managers, and visitors. Manage interview scheduling, including travel arrangements when needed. Maintain and update HR systems (New Hire, Vurv). Conduct candidate background and compliance checks. Prepare and distribute new hire materials (welcome/offer letters, forms). Coordinate new hire onboarding calls and orientation logistics. Review and process employee documentation for completeness and accuracy. Post job requisitions to internal and external platforms. Track and report on hiring metrics for the Team Leader. Support process improvement initiatives and provide backup for Team Lead as needed. Organize workload for a small team (pod) and assist in training new hires. Ensure all activities comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Scope of Responsibilities: Works closely with Talent Acquisition staff, candidates, and hiring managers across the company’s footprint. Acts as a brand ambassador, providing an exceptional first impression for potential hires. Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities: May oversee workflow for a small team. May train and mentor new staff. Education and Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED. 1+ year of administrative experience in HR or similar high-volume environment. Proven ability to manage scheduling, provide excellent customer service, and multitask effectively. Education and Experience Preferred: Knowledge of talent acquisition processes, HR systems, and policies. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong judgment, discretion, and confidentiality skills. Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization. Fast, accurate, and professional response to inquiries. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
