Takeoff Specialist

Position Purpose:

Serves as an individual contributor, overseeing daily blueprint takeoff processes and managing project workflows to enhance takeoff operations for Outside Sales field teams in the Pro market. Provides project management and technical expertise on complex, strategic initiatives that benefit an Outside Sales portfolio spanning multiple merchandising departments.

Key Responsibilities:

70% - Delivery and Execution - Project manage all aspects of the exterior jobs requested from the blueprint takeoff. Partner across THD teams and suppliers to fully support the total project scope. Prepare for and conduct customer blueprint takeoff pre-call meetings. Follow-up with takeoff supplier, internal quoting teams, and others to meet SLAs specific to the customer project for on time execution.

10% - Planning - Participate in project prioritization, preparation, and planning.

20% - Team and Stakeholder Management - Partner with internal teams to improve product offerings, services, and needs that support the takeoff business. Attend team meetings and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional partners for strategic alignment. Partner and support market leaders for training needs, performance updates, and feedback

Direct Manager/Direct Reports: This Position typically reports to the HDQC Manager Takeoffs. This Position has up to 0 Direct Reports

Travel Requirements: Travel between locations required

Physical Requirements: Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about; occasionally there may be a need to stoop or lift light objects (typically less than 8 pounds).

Working Conditions: Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to read and understand architectural and structural plan sets 

Experience with single and multi-family building trades and processes 

THD quoting and selling systems 

Salesforce 

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 

Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams 

Demonstrated project management skills 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum Education: The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED.
