AAA Club Ohio is currently seeking a Tag and Title Specialist to join our team at our King of Prussia, PA location.
The primary duties of the Tag and Title Training Specialist are to:
Maintains the proficiency to process all types of Tag & Title transactions within assigned state and acts as a Subject Matter Expert for Tag & Title, including train-the-trainer sessions with external vendors.
Organizes and conducts training sessions. Plans, organizes and instruct others on state specific Transaction Training including vendor/state specific systems and best practices
Critically exams the trainees’ understanding and progress and makes necessary adjustments to the program. Gathers, analyzes and discusses Associate training needs with Tag & Title Business Manager.
Develops in house training programs as assigned. Designs and/or updates job aids and reference materials such as outlines, handbooks and procedural manuals created for training purposes and/or distributed via hard copy, e-mail and/or Club Intranet.
Visit store locations on a regular basis to evaluate the completion and accuracy of work and review prior months’ paperwork. Identifies areas of the process that need clarification, provides training to Tag & Title authorized associates and uses the information to adjust the program and reference materials. Provide feedback to the associate, manager, auditors and Tag & Title Business Manager.
Respond to customer inquiries received via AAA.com. Respond to procedural questions via phone, e-mail and in person.
Attends all relevant and required trainings/seminars for continuing education and DMV Certifications. Remains current on policies and procedures, as well as new developments involving DMV Regulations and disseminates information.
Evaluate the accuracy and quality levels of information being provided to clients by observing interactions, reviewing recorded Tag & Title calls and quality service surveys. Provide feedback to the associate and management.
Authorized to apply for Department of Motor Vehicles [DMV] User IDs for associates, maintain DMV testing schedules and internal employee access spreadsheet.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications Include:
Associate degree or equivalent.
Three years of related State specific Department of Motor Vehicle business-like experience; two years of experience as a trainer a plus.
Must maintain a satisfactory criminal history and meet all state specific legal requirements for this job.
Maintain state specific certifications and successfully complete exams within state specified time frame. In PA Only; obtain PennDOT Certified Trainer Certification designation within one year of hire.
Notary Public designation preferred or ability to obtain a Notary Public designation [PA Only].
Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously in a multifaceted team environment while being detail oriented and organized with ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to learn, retain and communicate State specific Vehicle Code Regulations pertaining to Vehicle and / or Driver License applications required to complete client transactions.
Working Knowledge of Department of Motor Vehicles [DMV] regulations, State specific computer programs and the ability to interpret documents such as technical data, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, especially Power Point, Internet and competent keyboarding skills to accurately and efficiently complete daily work assignments. Ability to operate PC based software and computer programs.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed.

The starting base hourly compensation for this position is $24.15 to $37.52.
