Ready to suit up as a Tactical Security Guard

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Competitive hourly wage of $18.50 We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Part time / Saturday 10:30pm-10:30am Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Tactical Security Guard Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity Check identification and control access to secure areas React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken Control access to the site by monitoring and authorizing entry Patrol the premises regularly to identify safety hazards, fire hazards, breaches in fenced perimeter  Complete patrols using Gtrack reporting system Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents Qualifications for Tactical Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid BC security license First aid certification - an asset Must wear steel toe/tactical boots Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
