POSITION SUMMARY:
The Technical Assistance Center (TAC) team offers technical support to end users via phone, in-person, or remote access software. Responsibilities include creating incident tickets, providing front-line support, and handling daily and project tasks. This part-time job requires 20-30 hours per week, with varying shifts, including days, evenings, holidays and weekends.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provides front line technical support via phone, email, and chat.Provides password support using tools, such as, Microsoft Active Directory.Works within remote management tools to find information and deploy resolution to endpoints. Maintains ticket creation and management.Stages automated messages and communications to end users.Creates/update knowledge articles based on day-to-day ticket resolution. Follow documented processes and procedures.Contact customers regarding unresolved tickets.Other duties as assignedEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS:
Required: High school diploma/GEDPreferred: Associate degree (or higher) in Computer Science or related fieldExperience in a call center or customer service environmentCompTIA and/or ITIL certificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
Intermediate knowledge of computing systems including but not limited to: Microsoft and Apple operating systems, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Active Directory, as well as ability to learn new systems as they are implemented into the enterprise.Verbal Communication: Presents ideas, concepts, and information effectively and clearly through the spoken word; actively listens; communicates comfortably with various audiences; responds effectively to questions. Ability to explain complex technical solutions in a precise, simplified manner.Keyboarding: You will type company documents such as knowledge articles, ticket notes, and customer communications, and ensure they are error-free.Flexibility and a passion to grow and learn. Ability to balance role expectations with other initiatives and projects.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
