About the job:Summary
BBVA is seeking an HR Senior Analyst to support the team in the day-to-day operations. The role will provide administrative and analytic support across various HR functions including benefits administration, temporary staffing, vendor management, and ad hoc projects/requests.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Assist with the temporary staffing process which includes managing new requests & renewals and managing relationships with external recruitment agenciesResponsible for the vendor management and procurement process which includes onboarding new vendors, renewal of contracts, and invoice processingPrepare annual reports such as EE0-1 filings, CA Pay Data, annual non-discrimination testing for benefit plans, ACA reporting, and other regulatory state and federal filingsAssist with event coordination and communicationsPerform monthly reconciliation of benefit enrollments/terminations, changes, file feeds from carriers, and identifying discrepanciesManage leave of absence tracking, reasonable accommodation tracking, and return to work processAssist with New Hire OrientationEnsure compliance with regulations and labor laws including ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, and Worker’s CompensationAssist with ad-hoc reporting requestsEducation / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Accounting or related field of studyAt least 3+ years of experience/knowledge of HR functionsExperience with HRIS Software – preferably ADP Workforce NowKnowledgeable of multi-state benefits is a plus (i.e. state disability, paid family leave, etc)Strong analytics skills and proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Formulas, Pivots)Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, shift priorities based on business needs, and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive outlookExceptional oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate to all employee levels including Senior Management and provide excellent customer servicePrecise attention to detail and strong record keeping habits with a keen eye for data inconsistenciesAbility to make independent decisions, resolve issues, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationAdditional:

With respect to this position in our Houston Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $105,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
