NTT DATA, Inc. currently seeks an “Automation Tester” to join our team in “Bangalore/Chennai”.

Position's General Duties and Tasks

In these roles you will be responsible for:

 Job Responsibilities:

Overall working experience range is 4 to 6 years range as a test engineer

Hands on experience in automation testing of Web application using Selenium driver

Basic understanding of Java (putting loops, writing functions etc) for writing selenium testcases using any IDE like Eclipse or InteliJ

Working exposure in blending as part of larger scrum team and understanding of related scrum ceremonies

Functional / Manual testers - Hands on Agile Project/participating in Scrum ceremonies, who can function on their own. Individual contributors. Along with this, the automation experience. Individual contributors. Ale to articulate the issues/concerns on their own with business , development. Communication skills is a key.

 

Exposure in using tools like JIRA, Zephyr, Postman (for API testing), Bitbucket, Confluence etc

Preferred:

Working knowledge of Playwright as Testing tool is highly preferred and is big plus

Exposure in GenAI tools like Copilots, LLMs and related ecosystem

Having Python working knowledge is preferred.

Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (12:00PM to 10:00pm IST).  The shift timings can be changed as per client requirements. Additionally, resources may have to do overtime and work on weekend’s basis business requirement.
